Outboard was off and trolling motor doing 2-3mph. Forgot to pull motor up and the propeller scrapped along the shallow rocky (small pebbles) bottom..

Did a check and found out, when motor is off and in neutral, the propeller does not spin freely. there is quite a resistance to it. When I spin the prop with my hands, the flywheel does not spin, BUT if i spin the flywheel(when i pull cord too), the prop spins too. WTH? IF i put my foot on the prop, i can spin the flywheel and prop won't spin. Just afraid water may not provide enough resistance to the prop and when i fire her up, she may want to go forward...

Remember this is in "N". Gear is somehow partially stuck in forward.. shifts into gears easily as always..

That is normal the prop spins with the eng due to the oil and bearing drag in the case.

The power head has way to much resistance(compretion of the cly to turn with the case in neutral).

Put her in a bucket of water or find some clear water and you will be able to see that the prop will stop for the most part when in the water.

For the love of god please keep hands feet, well anything away from the prop wile the eng is running.

It should spin freely when the motor is off and in neutral. I guess we need to define "freely". "Quite a bit of resistance" makes me wonder.

If your oil is clean and everything works, you probably are good to go. Touching pebbles certainly didn't hurt it.

Oh, I just thought of something. Pull the prop off and check for fish line wound around the shaft. I've seen yards and yards of that stuff wound in there, and then it melts from friction and turns into a solid glob. Gets into the seal and destroys that too.
