Re: How do I install a temp Gauge?
You buy the gauge and follow the directions. The gauge you buy needs to be for an outboard and to be useful needs to be calibrated for an outboard. Most that are available today are calibrated C-N-H since most people don't know what normal is anyway so numbers are useless to them. You need a sender that matches the gauge. Teleflex and Faria and others have them. Many gauges are calibrate 120 - 260 degrees. These are for I/Os which run hotter than outboards or jets so the needle would never get off the 120 mark.
