Please somebody out there---I cant get the brass plug screw for the main nozzle, the idle tube, and the passage plug loose on my little KB7B Tillitson carburetor. I do not want to strip the heads off the flathead brass screws, They seem to have seized in the carburetor body which appears to be made of white metal. Does anyone have any ideas? I want to blow out the passages with compressed air. Thanks.

You might be able to take a long punch with a flat point and (gently) tap the heads of the screws with a hammer. Most of the time this works for me.

Good luck :)
