Floor jack and homemade boat jacks + 6 stinking hours to do. Has been on these stands about four years now. Wind storms and all, no problems.

But now I have one of these! Maybe loading will be a little quicker.

I know, such a show off. The floor jack method works fine. And build some good stands.

Wow..this really is a hard question for the home guys out there... Safe..but cheap....

The Ol trailer down and block the back first is correct IMO..

However you really should have Jack Stands 2x for this ..

You should have Wood timber for support..not cinder/concrete ( your just betting your life that whoever handled that particular block didnt throw it thus comprimising it ? )

Its just ez to suggest how to do this..but even though I have done this dozens of times.. It Allways makes me nervous ..

Just dont get under it when lifting the bow up...to pull the trailer out..and block the keel as fast as possible.

Your keel supports the boat..the stands on the chine are for support from side to side only..not for weight. If your keel blocks are loose..then your not Safe..

Ayuh,... And timber that still Rings when struck, insteada Thuds...
I started a photobucket account and uploaded a test picture this am, but it was huge. I need to figure out the re-size deal. Someone says you can auto re-size them at photobucket anytime you upload, so I will try that when I get home from work today.
At the top of this forum are 3 stickies explainin' picture posting...

Excellent, below are the two options for uploading pictures... Again advice from Bond-O.

Thanks... The first picture is the new Smart Tabs install photo.
And the Second is my boat, "Miss Dimple..." Beached...

As soon as the season is over, about two more weeks. I will make a step by step post with pictures of the whole removal from trailer event. I believe there will be bottom re-finishing and an outdrive swap this winter.

Thanks a lot guys...
