Hello all. I have the following gauges that don't work:
speedometer
trim
fuel
PSI

the only two that DO work are the tach and volts.

Hoping that somebody will have a some tricks or hints on how to troubleshoot where the problem is. Especially so I can work on it this WINTER when it's not in the water. thanks in advance!

Speedometer, the tube is clogged, remove obstruction.; Trim & fuel, that's electrical, check connection's, PSI, I take it that's water pressure guage, unclog that too.

The speedometer is not an electrical gauge. It has a back light but that's not needed for it to operate. A small tube runs from the back of the speedometer and the water pressure gauges to the back of the boat. The tube from the speedometer connects to a pitot that sticks into the water or to a fitting on the engine at the leading edge of the lower unit. The water pressure tube connects to a fitting on the engine under the cowl. The fuel gauge requires 12volts that's on when the key is on. The gauge also has a ground wire and another that comes from the sender in the fuel tank. The tank and the gauge both need to be grounded. The trim gauge works just like the fuel gauge but the sender is mounted in the tilt area on the engine. I suspect you have some grounding issues.

Wow, thanks a ton for the help. Sure is nice to get advice like that. I noticed I put this in the wrong thread (should've been in the electrical forum) So I appreciate the help.
