How do I use Seafoam

I have a 1984 9.9hp 2 stroke Johnson. I know there are a lot of threads about Seafoam but it's hard to weed through all of them to get the information I need.I just purchased this motor & it probably has been sitting idle for several years. It seems to run fine & I just had the impeller replaced. What is the best way to use Seafoam for this motor? Thanks.

What are you trying to do with the seafoam? If you are going to decarb the motor, then go to the "top secret file" in the Johnson/Evinrude repair forum and follow link to decarb. If you are using it to simply as an addative to your tank, seafoam has instructions of it's use.
