How do I wire my starter solenoid correctly?

This is an OMC 2.3.

On my starter solenoid there are 4 posts, 2 big and 2 small. One of the big ones is always hot (battery), the other big one is always cold (ground), one of the small ones is only got during cranking and the other small one is constant hot when the motor is running.

Well I have been accidentally using that constant hot when running post for my ignition coil, which apparently messed up my ignition.

There is already a yellow wire on the " hot when cranking" post, I don't know where it goes. However when move my ignition coil wire (black and purple) to the other side with the yellow one the boat actually cranks in the "run" position, instead of waiting for my to crank the key.

When I move the yellow wire to the " hot when motor is running" post the motor will crank and start, but after shutting it off I have to tap on the starter solenoid and wait awhile before it will crank again.

IN A NUTSHELL does anyone know how to properly wire a starter solenoid for this boat?

Gotta figure out what post gets energized when power is supplied to the small post.
One small post is a ground(blackwire). The other is for the yellow/red wire.
The two big are one to the battery and the other to the starter.

Ayuh,.... Of the 4 posts, the top big post is the battery wire, the bottom big post is the starter load,....

The smaller post, next to the motor block should be the exciter wire, which actuates the starter...
The smaller post, away from the block supplies full battery power to the coil, Only when startin',....
It should be Dead, no power when Runnin',...
