How do u identify non-us suzuki/yamaha year?

Does anyone no how to identify the year on non-US 2stroke, Suzuki and Yamaha engines? And a source for parts manuals (in english) for the same? The Sealoc manuals I've bought are of no use. <br /><br />Thanks,<br />Walter
