I've got a '93 225TRXX with 704 Binacle and digital gauge, how do I check to make sure everything is operating properly? I have no owners manual or any other info on this engine.
are you sure its TRXX?
for US market motors the last X indicates its a 1999 model, to test unplug a pink wire from either cylinder head temp switch, on the 3.1L motors they are located on the top of the block. turn the key on, take the engine side of that pink wire to ground, you should get a horn and depending on your guage package a visual.
Sorry Rodbolt.......I must have been a little dyslectic... it's 225TXRR. Is this a 2.6L or a 3.1 and does it make any real difference as far as ordering parts..IE: carb kit, thermostats, water pump kit? Thanks!
