Re: How do you cover your boat.

I use a $90 dollar Wal-mart cover. I installed snaps on it to better hold it in place. I don't mind taking it on and off, it keeps the water out, and is more durable than the cheaper $50 Wal-mart cover I had that kept ripping. In the winter, it goes in my garage. In the summer it is floating at my dock with the cover on. In spring and fall it sits in the drivway with the cover on.

Hey Seakaye, do you hate me for having a garage and a dock? :)

I always keep them indoors, but I have used the Costo carports (10 X 20 about $169.00) they have side walls and doors, they worked very well.

wish we had costco here now... I'm going to get a steel carport and put sides and a back on it. I'll just back it in for the full lake months and cover it and keep it in the carport for the empty lake months.
(I live near a lake that gets drained in the winter months for production of electricity.)
