How do you get the seal carrier out and back in, Merc A1 Gen2

Hi Guys its me dumb newbie,

I re-dropped my drive unit, been working on the seal carrier Don suggested. I think I didn't mess with it before because it wouldn't come out easy so I just left it alone. Now, I want to change it and I put WD on it to loosen it up but no joy. Anybody know how to take it out easy? I am really chewing it up good, tried vise grips too. Help!

I hope you understand a seal has to have a clean, smooth surface to seal against and a bore that's chewed up can cut the seal as it's installed.

Really loved the manual, awsome. I got the seal carrier out and did'nt do any damage to the bore. I have new assembly on order. Glad to be a part of this forum, I have some great folks to talk to now.
