Greetings,
I have a hand me down motor that I'd like to find information about. From talking with the past owner , we think it is a Firestone motor made 5 hp from the early 40's. There are no decals left and I'd like to repaint and reapply new decals. The engine runs great, not very fast, like a gas powered trolling motor. Any help would b great.

Several people made Firestone motors. Mostly Scott Atwater. Need something to go by, a model number would be best. At least a picture to narrow it down to a mfr.

Click on "post reply" button. (not quick reply)
Enter your comments in the text box
Scroll down and click on "manage attachments"
From there you will see options to load a picture frm the web or from your computer.
Note the size restrictions. It won't "take" if too large.
