How do you indentify one Mercury WMC carb from another?

I have a 1995 Mercury 25 Hp that was missing the cowl when I bought it. I am trying to figure out if it is a regular 25 Hp, a Marathon, or a Sea Pro.

The previous owner told me that it was a Marathon.

I was told that if I could figure out the carbuerator type, I would know what the motor is. Now I am having trouble finding out what type of carbuerator I have. It only says WMC on the top of it.

The serial number is OG134127 if that helps.

There should be a number after the WMC (example WMC-52) somewhere on the carb. Does it have any numbers like this on it, 1392-823907T12?

WMC numbers should be seen stamped on top of the mounting flange.

If you look under Carburetor in the service manual, you will see the WMC numbers and jet sizes of the 20 and 25 depending on year of manufacture of the engine.

I did see the WMC on the top of the flange but nothing else. I'll look harder and report back. I also remember seeing 1544 (from memory) on the side of the carb. I'll have to double check everything when I get home tonight.

I appreciate your help.
