How do you plug holes drilled into the top deck of an aluminum boat?

I have a 1950s Crestliner where various owners added accessories to the boat that are long gone from it.

Holes range from around 3/4" to 1".

What is normally used to plug them THAT WONT rust or tarnish over time?

Do you want it "pretty" or plugged?

Along the lines of SD's suggestion, I have cut aluminum plugs out of aluminum with a hole saw to make washers for various things. You could cut a couple discs a bit bigger than the hole, then use a 10-24 truss head machine screw to sandwich them above/below the hole. The screw would be smaller than the center hole so you would have to carefully align it while tightening. Use either JB Weld or 3M 4200/5200 to glue the discs in place. Also, chuck the discs in drill and sand the edges a bit to make them look good.

Or.... Just rivet it...
