I've used what appears to be the same product but bought it at a local auto supplier. USed it for electrical repairs under the hood of the van and it has held up fine for a couple years now. The stuff just melds somehow into a solid piece over time. It can't compare however to the heatshrink tubing with the adhesive liner for waterproofing.
