How does smart tabs affect your wake?

I have a Tahoe Q4 that proposes and wonders at idle speeds. Of course like everyone else I would like it to be fixed, which from reading about smart tabs, it will fix both my problems. My only concern is how does smart tabs affect the wake behind the boat? I like to wake board, knee board, and pull tubs on occasion, how will that be affected? Also I saw the PR500 bracket on Nauticus website where I can pull the smarttabs up and out of the way when I don't want to use them, is that what I need to do what I am boarding?

Re: How does smart tabs affect your wake?

I just installed my TrimTabs with the extra adapter to let me activate or deactivate...

I have a problem with my high bow rise. I am thinking these will do the trick for me. I also do a bunch of wakeboarding and had the same concerns as you do with the wake. I heard that they do make the wake a little flat or wishy-washy ( technical term ), so that's why I spent the extra $$$ so I can still have fun too....
Here is a link to another thread started recently about this subject;
