I live on a 400 acre lake which is ok on weekdays, but crowded on weekends. Therefore I drive about 40 miles to the Illinois river where I keep my other boat.

Ten mins to boat ramp at Marina, Then 20 mins on the water to the Broadwater and Surfers Paradise at the Gold Coast Australia.

4 miles and a climb of 700' to my favorite trout lake. 20 minutes from my driveway to fishing.

Im 70 minuites away. There is a lake closer, but we have chosen to stay on the river. So many more options. We boat the Kanawha river and the ohio. The boat is used from second week in April till Thanksgiving. Longest trip so far has been approx. 140 miles. But we have stayed gone 14 days before. Dont let an longer drive discourage you. its really nothing. if it was 2 hrs for us we would still enjoy every minuite there.

I'm two hours away from my go to spot - Point Lookout area MD
where the Potomac river meets the glorius Chesapeake Bay, and
20, minutes from the Potomac river Washington dc.

45 min. frm the lake (. wolf lake) and 5 min. frm the river ( the maumee). but the boat usually spnds the summer at the lake

12 minutes to Lake Guntersville, 35 minutes to Smith Lake, an hour to Weiss Lake(all in north Alabama). I have a camper lot at Guntersville and I keep the pontoon in a slip there during the summer and I tow the bass boat back and forth to the campgrounds.
