Well Chambers, sounds like we are on the same lakes. :) Hope to see you out on the water soon!
The farthest I have gone is to the Atlantic.

Did the smaller lakes thing with the towable boat. Gets boring running in circles so we decided to make the switch to Lake Erie. 2 hour drive hence the reason for a boat we can stay the weekend aboard.

How far right now? 200 feet. What would my limit be? 200 miles.

I have a ramp at the end of my road here in Melbourne, Australia. Unfortunately since I put a wakeboard tower on the boat I can no longer use that ramp as I can't get under a low bridge! So now we have to drive 15 mins to the next ramp.

We drive 1.45 - 2 hours to get to the nearest inland lakes but we often do those as a day trip if the sea is too rough.

Can you put a quick release bracket on the tower to fold it down to get through the channel?

3 min to the local ramp which connect two lakes together that add up to about 23 miles in length. We live in an area called the Lakes District in northern BC. If I drive 2 hours in any direction, there are about 200 different bodies of water to chose from. We make one trip a year to the Okanagan or Shuswap Lakes which are about a 10 hour drive. The temperatures in July and August are in the mid 30's there.

Cabin is 4.5 hours north and well worth the drive. One boat so it stays with us since it's the land of 10,000 boatable lakes. I love towing, it's an extra excuse to drive at the speed limit plus there's extra cargo space.

Possibly I can rig up something. It's almost the end of the season here in Australia so I may work on some ideas during the winter.

Do you have any salt water crocs hanging around the boat landings?

Which do you prefer in the area. We split our time between Norris and Melton Hill. Norris is further away but family also boats there. Melton Hill is closest and my favorite. Ft. Loudon and Tellico are too big and too hot.

That is hard to grasp. Since it is early spring here.
