25-130 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico depending on what we are fishing for.

125 to 150 miles off the Jersey shore for ten days at a time. -- 87' western rigged dragger, commercial scalloping.
-- For pleasure boating, about 15 miles (or whatever Nantucket is).

-- I don't see much more than 5 - 10 miles in the furture.
