Saw 104 deg. here today. My humming birds were burning their tongue's as they slurped up sugar water out of their feeders.

I don't complain too much about hot weather either, I HATE winter. But..... that said the humidity does make me cry uncle sometimes. Now that I'm in my fifties I just can't take it like when I was a youngster.

Same here..I hate winter. But it hot here my neighbor was plowing his corn field with a couple of mules and he said the corn started popping and the mules thought it was snowing and froze to death!

It's 74 deg. here. BIG Thunderstorm. The Mrs. is very worried about her garden. I handed her a flashlight and after the look she gave me I came back her where it's safe.

There has been one day since June 5 that the high at The Hideout did not exceed 100f. Last Friday it hit 110f.

Nope we save that to run in the vehicles. The Gov. subsidizes 46cents a gallon to make it....go figure...

91 today at 87 percent humidity.....just right for a sauna!

Here in Southern Illinois today with the humidity factored in, the radio said it was 117 degree's.

And I had to pick the 11th to travel to Kankakee, ILL to pick up a bus and drive back on the 12th ... no A/C in the bus ... was a tad sticky drive back!
