How long is too long?

I accidentally ran my 2 stroke 20 hp kicker for about 5 to 7 seconds without water. Seems weird to hear but yes, I was tilting my O/B forward with the switch left on and I bumped the start switch. Normally it takes a second or two to start but I had just had it running and it fired up and ran a few seconds before i could kill it. I'll dunk the boat and run it to see if I created a problem but normally would this fry my impellar?

If it was still wet because you just had it running then you probably didn't do any harm.

Thanks guys, I'll look forward to running the kicker this next weekend and know for sure. I'm really getting tired of maintenance on two boats. Let alone repairs from stupid mistakes.
