Maybe it's a U.S.thing, but my definition is a low freeboard boat w/ a big motor hanging off the back, set up for fishing & getting to the fishing holes quickly. <br />Fishing tournaments have time limits, so the faster you can get in & out the more time to fish.<br />And don't forget the metalflake gelcoat.

Thanks JRJ, I took it with a Sony p71 digital. I crawled out of the tent and the lake was smooth as glass and covered with fog. I just got lucky.

hey jsfinn, <br /><br /><br />i had a 14' jon i miss that boat. i hit a bridge at around 15 mph just a slight ding trying to out run a storm if i did that in my nitro or any other glass boat there would be no metal flakes

Bought the boat new in '01 and told Lil'J whoever outfished the other got to run the motor and fish out of the front the next trip... after three years I've learned to like fishing in the back of the boat but I do wish he'd let me drive every once in a while.

LubeDude what you doing with a Bass boat in ORYGUN anyway?. I thought that was Smoker Craft country, rivers, Salmon fishing, stuff like that. Exept them two Canadian chicks Shelly and Cortney they fish out of a Lund.

Man, that hull really made its rounds, I had a ranger that had that same hull design in the early 80s. Then a skeeter that looked almost the same. Both 15' boats. The ranger would run almost 50 with an 85 HP Evenrude. great fishing boats.

I live on the best Bass lake in ORYGUN, Ten Mile Lakes. The fish I catch have fur on them, I guess they must have evolved.

Jtexas that thing has two live wells.<br />That is a 1974 challenger that has belonged to my brother since it was new.<br />Last year he bought him a new one and gave me this one. I installed the later model seats and went over the motor real good and she will run around 48 on the gps. That is a 1975 85h/p evenrude with less then 100 hrs on it.<br />I have replaced all the instruments on it and added a few and even put trim tabs on it.<br />This old gal gets me where I need to be and serves me well. Gonfishn has been out in it a couple of times.<br />Don't have no metal flake but she is getting a new paint job here in a few weeks.<br />Gonna paint her with base coat clear coat and change color to silver and red to match my truck.<br /><br />OMC thanks for the kind words.
