How many ampere is the alternator of a Johnson 70hp VRO from 1986 producing at idle, cruising and max speed?

6 amps at full throttle, it will hardly show a charge below 2000 RPM without a sensitive amp meter

I found some information stating 6 Amp, and I guess that's at max speed.
So, it would take a little more than 20 hours at max speed to charge my two batteries, 50 & 75 Ah, interesting...

More like 10 since the batteries are pretty much usless below 50%.
