Re: How many are....?

I got my WII a couple of weeks ago. That was the only high demand item on my list. All I had to do was to show up at Target at 7:55 on Sunday morning and they gave me a golden ticket to buy a WII.

My kids are going to faint when they open it as my wife has been pretty adamant to this point about video game systems..

Re: How many are....?

To be honest with you my mother is running Vista on her verly new computer and it runs smooth and fast. I haven't seen a problem with it at all. To down grade from Vista to XP you'll half to find the drivers for the laptop's accessories and everything.

Yes, My mother and I have priced in a RAM upgrade for 2 of them and everything with tax should be right in the range of the laptop and printer at full price without the extra 2 gigs of RAM. So in my eyes its a deal. We may even sell the one or both of the printers that come with it, both unless they are wireless. We will be getting up in about 2 hours to get on the road(nearest bestbuy is an hour away) and hopefully get 2 of them. :)

I also had to work tonight and it being my first thanksgiving time of the year at Walmart, it was a hell of a day, and I pity anyone that works tomorrow morning. I hate seeing the stuff come in(i unload the trucks) but i love to see it gone.

Thanks for all the help so far.

Re: How many are....?

Good luck on the laptop, hope it all works out. I have a 3.2 GHZ Pentium 4 Compaq with 512 megs of ram, with a 60 gig hard drive, and with a 17" screen, DVD RW with lightscribe. This computer weighs a ton lol. I've been working on computers for 8 years give or take total between side jobs and working full time on them. I have been using computers for 13 years. This computer is a couple of years old, but at the time I made sure it was top notch when I got it, it only cost me $1500 or so if not more. Later on you may want to consider upgrading the memory on the computer to 2 gigs if possible.

P.S.

Don't use AOL internet on it or any computer for that mater, just my 2 cents. Keep in mind that this computer you mentioned isn't the biggest one out there, but it should be good for the money.

I planned on getting the 2 gigs at the time of purchase on both of them. I don't plan on using AOL at all because we have DSL here and we use Firefox. Thanks for the advice.

Re: How many are....?

Well,
I just got home.
Lowes had the FireStorm 18V 3/8" drill kit for $39.97, it was a four piece kit that had the drill, a light, a shop-vac, and a drill/driver kit. I also got a second battery for $14.

Then we went to Fred Meyers and bought new socks and a bunch of pillows for 50% off.

That was it. I got what I wanted, she got what she wanted. :)
Life is good.

We were up at 1 to leave and left around 130 then an hour drive and then we got there and there was a line of 150-200 people so we left. The odds werent in our favor and it was a bit cold out.

Congrats on your buys.
