Re: How many know?

I know now, but didn't until about a month ago whena discussion on PONDS came up.<br /><br />What I would like to know is why?<br /><br />A tank is a tank, a pond is a pond. <br /><br />The dinner supper thing is cool, the coke soda thing is also good, but a tank is a tank and a pond is a pond!

Ponds is ponds and tanks is metal. Yea, I do know the difference between dinner, lunch, and supper. But about the tanks, you Texas guys must of thought that one up sometime after we populated your state for you. Except for those of you that rode up on donkeys.

We call them "Dams".<br />"Tanks" are above-ground, either 'on the ground', or on a low stand (6-8'high for pressure) or on the top of a very tall windmill (for plenty of pressure).<br />We have Breakfast, then Lunch, then Tea.<br />Cheers<br />Phillip
