How many of us are posting while working?

All right now, let's be honest (sort of). Who is posting while at work and how do you rationalize it?<br /><br />In my case, my job has long periods of intense activity punctuated by moments of no action required. The moments are appreciably longer when I'm on the midnight shift.

This is my only "catch-up on paperwork" time, and as I HATE paperwork... I NEED some diversion. My "normal" day is 16 to 18 hours.

Same as datawire, when I'm doing paperwork (more to the point - keyboard work), coffee time, lunch.<br /><br />I'm self-employed - its coffee time <br /><br />Aldo

I run my business out of my house and I have 2 more computers to comunicate with my drivers and customers, so it's just where I am about 18 hours a day, in front of this screen.

Only at lunch time. Our firewall blocks certain sites during work hours....This site is classified as "Chat", so it's blocked.

Only if it's regarding a motor that I'm working on at work. Otherwise it's at home after the kids are off to bed or in the morning before they wake up.

Since I work for myself and have no accountibility to others, I can't go by the computer without checking e-mails; forums;etc: when I come back to the house several times a day!!!!

Almost every day. I have a T1 at work, and dial up at home. Hmmmm.... Think I will continue to use the high speed at work.

Guilty. But I too work at home. The good Lord has blessed me with my life's most desired dream, to be able to work at home with my wife. I thank Him for it!

Typing on the keyboard is a frustrating weakness I've possessed for years. I need alot of reps to over come it, but I have become alot better. My writing has also declined over the years due to large quantities of writing basic shop-notes, tool drawings, construction plans and notes. Spelling?....screw that, I"m getting old. And my vocabulary sucks as well. So for me this is OJ..T!<br /><br />Hows That?
