How many pounds of aluminum in a 18' Holiday?

I can pick up a basket case 18' Starcraft Holiday with good outdrive and ugly trailer for $200. I know I am going to catch heat for this, but it really is a basket case. Left out in the weather for several years, frozen busted engine block and no title plus last registered in a different state. I want to put it out of its misery and donate some of its organs to my Starchief.
So, how many pounds of aluminum are in its hull so that I can cut it up for scrap to recoup my out of pocket expenses? Anybody else ever scrapped a similar hull?
Sawzall the best method to cut it up?
Painted aluminum bring 50 cents a pound around here right now.

Buy it for $200, take what you need, sell the hull and trailer for $300.

You get what you need, make money, save a bunch of time not cutting up an alum hull (terrible anyway) and another fella gets a fun project.

Everybody wins and a Starcraft lives to see another float trip:)

Jas has got the right idea here... my first Jupiter had 300 lbs of metal in it... so an 18' would not be all that much more. And in any case, the hull gets to be used by someone else who is looking for a project... sort of a circle of life... but with boats. Something to consider. :)

Unless the hull is Swiss cheese from corrosion or run over by a semi don't consider the scrap yard. Someone full of dreams will buy it, titled or not. A person from the right state (like Georgia) can get the boat and trailer transferred without a title. I did with just bills of sale, piece of cake!

Or sell it to someone from MI on a bill of sale- works smoothly! But most certainly do not cut up a repairable hull!!!

18' SCs are such great and versatile hulls that it really would be a shame to cut up a non-corroded one.

A buddy of mine cut up a 1995 Superfisherman hull, which was a 19' open outboard hull about a year ago, the aluminum from the hull only weighed in at 412 lbs after all the wood, foam, carpet, seats, and windshields were removed.
(It was scrapped due both corrosion issues and some pretty nasty dents in the hull from being dropped on it's transom on a concrete boat ramp). He bought it that way for it's motor and trailer.
I suppose an earlier 18' hull may be lighter due to the lack of all the inner trim panels on the later models. The 1995 had it's transom completely encased in aluminum, it had a huge aluminum frame up front for the livewell, and it had fully boxed aluminum dash pods.
(It was also filled with foam, which was soaked with water).
