How Much Carpet Will I Need?

Hi everyone, I right in the middle of replacing the interior of my 17' 1988 Blue Fin sportsman boat. I am ready to install the new carpet on the deck and consoles. How much carpet do you guys think that I need to buy? My plan is just to go to a carpet outlet store and purchase a roll of indoor/outdoor stuff. I found a roll that is 12'x9'. I'm thinking that I may have to buy 2 rolls of that, but i"m not sure. Any Ideas? Here is some pics of the interior to give you guys some idea of what is being covered. Thanks in advance.

i had the same boat, stripped it made a center console. carpet?? imho, has no business any where in a boat.

I also am not a big fan of carpet, but I think it will be the easiest way to make it look brand new. I'm going to be selling it when I'm done because I traded in the only vehicle that I had to tow it. Anyone interested????....lol.

Are you placing carpet on the floor also? The floor looks wavey and unsealed, not a good sign for a buyer. You might get less for the boat than you paid for the carpet :redface:

The flooring has been replaced, those pieces that you see are old shots when I was removing everything

I'm located in central Pennsylvania, assuming I am able to finish this thing relatively soon, what do you guys think would be a fair/average price to sell this thing at? It will have new carpet, 4 new seats, new pedestals, new cover, new deck, and new consoles. It will include the boat, trailer and the Johnson 50 motor. I saw the exact same boat at bass pro shop only a year newer and they were asking $3,200. Didn't seem like it had a new interior either.
