TilliamWe, National Marine in Peoria, IL just charged me $79/hr and they quoted $65/hr for winter repairs in Dec, Jan, and/or Feb.

Sweet! I am guessing they are HURTING for work, considering how cold and wet the summer was!

Re: How much have you paid for Labor on your boat?

Well once when newbie with my boat I had a trouble at the ramp with gas and water @ the carbs. I found a mechanic that fix my trouble for $100.00, we talking about 4 cards on an outboard, he take one by one and open it for let the water out, carb cleaner and lets go, not a hard task. Lesson learned from that day I just bought the engine service manual and do the job my myself. Anyway by an example just for change the impeller and housing goes around $150.00 with parts included, the mechanic can stop by your home or marina, :rolleyes:not bad........
