Re: How much higher will it get?
Iran, bans on drilling in ANWAR, and offshore of Florida. Add to this, the efforts by some to thwart local supplies, their banning of refinery construction (the "not in my back yard or yours" mentality)-- Add the fact that there are only ten acrhaic, yet still-functioning refineries in this country, FORCED to refine varying grades of fuel just to meet silly state-sanctioned ordinances, and six buks per gallon is in our future. We can TRY to do something about this, but in the end, it is inevitable.

Because of two hurricanes and the spread of "citrus canker" (a blemishing fungus that does not effect the actual fruit), i can't get oranges and i live in florida, 3 miles from a grove, and 7 miles away from a processing plant.
On top of that, the state's "orange tree mafia" keeps walking right up to young trees on my property, looking for an excuse to remove them...And there is NOTHING i can legally do about it!

Life draws vacuum sometimes. But with God's help, i'll deal with it. In the meantime, I'll keep watering and fertilizing those young trees, and paying whatever i must to purchase enough gas to get to church and werk next week.
