How much horse power do I have

Hi Guys
I need to register my boat I have a Bayliner 2250 Capri with a 350 chev engine in it, can anyone tell me what the horse power rating is ?

Yr? 2 barrel carb / 4 barrel carb, EFI ? MPI? Serial #s?

Your last post said a 5 liter=5.0 a 350 is a 5.7? Watcha got there?

OK, is it a 5.0 or a 5.7, any serial#s? Again a 5.0 is a sbc gm 305 and a 5.7 is a smc gm 350. You said in your 1st thread it was a 5 litre and in the 2nd thread a 350? two different animals. I see from the other thread it's a 1988.

My first thread mentions nothing about a 5 litre, Its a 350 chev with a 4 barrel I have no serial numbers either

The boat is a 1988 bayliner capri 2250

Ayuh,... For insurance,+ registration purposes, ya always state the lower expected numbers,...

Over here "down under" in Australia they are pedantic about the right figures, if you dont get it right the first time they send you away and you have to book in again and that can take another 2 weeks but I will go with the 250 hp and see what happnes.
