how much in labor

hello I have a question about labor so I can have a idea, I have a 1995 wellcraft with a 305 sterndrive mercruiser and a alpha one gen II, the boat doesnt have the engine, the outdrive and the transom assembly, I have a brand new sei 116 complete unit and a new transom assembly that include all the hoses and trim cilinders, the engine is a 305 mercruiser but older is from 1984 running, all the plugs are in the boat they didnt cut any wiring is very clean, I would like to know how much around will be the labor to finish the boat thanks again.

AT 100.00 AN HOUR =alot, i am always trying to do stuff myself so your labor is free.

Ayuh,... I'd say 2 men, in something under a Week...

Call around to local boat shops. Smaller one person shop may be your best bet.
If you are not in a hurry for the boat they may take in as a winter project and be flexible on the rate, due to lack of business over the winter.

We have found that business dies over the winter and first warm day of spring everyone wants their boat yesterday, along with a list of extras to do, that we have no time because everyone else wants their boat serviced.

the shop arounf here is $80 /hour.... and they told me to swap a merc. 470 to a 4.3l v6 would be about 1200 labor. and 2 days...

the local boat dealer told me they charge $110 and hour for labor

im sticking to old motors....
