Need more details. Is it a salty or fresh water motor. Is it a 20" or 25" shaft motor. What does it look like (Pics). What is the compression numbers. Does it run? (You say it does not).

Need more details. But from what you stated with the available details I'd give you around 500 hundred or under not running. It's only goor for parts or scrap right now. Running perfect and fresh water motor in great shape cosmetically, around 2000-2500.

I just sold a 1996 200 25" for 2700.00.

Running, gone thru very thoroughly, and repainted.

Guy came from Miami to pick it up.

its a fresh water motor, it was running last summer but didn't want to start this year, compression numbers read anywhere from 80-86 psi i did it with the throttle close because i didn't know you had to open the throttle body up when doing a compression test. It looks just like this

You don't have to open the throttle when doing a compression test and the numbers are typical for that motor and are OK.

Location, location, location. Where you live has more to do with used prices than just about any thing else. Look on Craig's List to get a feel for prices in your area.
