I have a Proline 22 bay with a 1998 Yamaha 150 Saltwater series and I am going to repower with a new 200. I want a 200 for more power and to see if a 200 will burn less gas because it is a little weak with a 150 and I am running a 17 pitch prop. The motor looks very clean and is a 25 inch shaft and has a Yamaha ss prop. The number is s150txrw and is a precision blend motor, Also give me some advice on what brand I should get. I am in the process of installing new fuel pumps and the motor has been serviced on time and still has very good compression.

Spend some time here reading posts about these 150-225 hp engines. You may find a fair number that will suggest that there is not a heck of a lot of difference in performance.
