Spider cracks are superficial, nothing you can do about it . Motor sputtering after shutting off could be timing off a tad . The 4.3s are good dependable engines. Personally not a fan of Trophy's , I would keep looking . The hull has no toe kicks , so you cant get your feet under the gunwales, that sucks for fishing . The cockpit is small , and with 3 people on board someone is always in the way . I/Os won't throttle down enough for trolling, so it's trolling bags , a kicker or a T-motor on the bow . The doghouse takes up prime real estate or if located under the deck ,gives you a higher center of gravity , which means rocking ,big time . It's supposed to be a fishing boat , yet most of the gear is on very high pedestal's . None of the fishing boats i own or buddies are set up with those sky scrapper's . Having said all that , I wouldn't pay more than 7- 8K for it . And a year later after realizing it wasn't as nice as a setup as i thought it would be , it'd be back on the market .
