How much movement in outdrive?

I am curious when I grab the out drive when the boat is on the trailer and the trim is down how much should I be able to lift the drive up and down? I had my drive off recently and the bearing and all looked good just kinda curious why I have so much free play up and down movement!

After reading your post I went out and checked mine, it too has quite a bit of play in the pivot rod that attaches to the trim cylinders, I hope that's normal it's never caused any issues.
