Being a Limited Liability Corporation separates your business assets from your personal assets. Without it, one good lawsuit and you could have your assets handed to you. 
I'd consider approaching the owner of the 70 footer with an appearance contract. For a "small" monthly fee, you could go out to the boat and clean it. Staying on top of it will use fewer supplies overall and less time overall, and provide you with a steady monthly stipend, if you will. After all, it really isn't necessary to wax the boat every single time it goes out. Though a wash and dry between waxes will keep it shiny.
