hi,<br /><br />putting the finishing touches on my project. I'm wondering how soon i can paint over 5200? i know it is tack free in 48 hrs... will it continue to cure if i paint over it at that time? <br /><br />thanks,<br /><br />matt
5200 must be fully cured before painting or the paint will more than likely not cure. Someone else posted here recently that they had tried this and couldn't get their paint to cure. If you used the standard and not the fast cure it takes 8 to 14 days to cure.
All will be glad to know the paint referenced in the above link finally dried. It took a month. Fortunately it was in an area where it could pretty much rest in peace.
