how to adjust carbs on 85 120hp looper

I'm trying to adjust my carbs because accourding to the spark plug reading 3 are running lean and one is running rich. i can't find how to adjust them in the manual It says the valves are fixed, does that mean they're not adjustable?The motor revs up and down a few RPM. One of the plugs are blk with carbon. thanks for any help.

they are not adjustable, it means it is time to clean and install new carb kits. also check spark and compression.

the carbs were just redone about 2 months ago and it ran fine the 3 times i took it out. then one day just keep stalling and then got to the point were it wouldn't turn over anymore. it wasnt till that day when the plug started to turn blk and the motor reving up and down. why would this all of a sudden happen, what else could cause this?

Did the black spark plug come from cylinder #4. If so, It may be the vro/fuel pump slowly going out. The vro/fuel pump gets its pulses from #4 cylinder and may be leaking causing a small amount of raw fuel into #4 and low fuel volume or pressure into the carbs. Just a thought

it is the top right plug if looking at the motor from the back.

ever heard of Ethanol? i have had motors run great today, and the carbs be contaminated, the next day. read this
