How To Adjust Trailer Bunks for Yamaha Waverunner PWC (Trailer Bunks Placement)

Hello,
I recently bought a 2018 Yamaha Waverunner FX-HO. The ski came without a trailer and I bought a trailer that was used for a SeaDoo before.
I need to know how to adjust the bunks for my jetski. Right now the ridges are sitting on the bunks but that doesn't look/ feel right (please see attached pictures).

Should I move the bunks out a little (wider) so the sides of the hull rest on the bunks?

I would move them outward just past and see if the keel and skid plate still clears. If there to close then have to go in. In either case I don't see it hurting the hull
