Wink Please Read This Before Posting A Question

In this forum, we do not need to know what type boat you have, we need to know the following to answer your questions with any kind of specific information.

1. Engine year, make, type, Full Model number, or a serial number if possible.
Giving only the year does not help, as that is the year of the boat and not always the year of the engine and drive package.

2. Type and model of outdrive, Merc, Volvo, OMC, etc. Unlike automotive, boat manufacturers do not make the engines, they buy them from.

3. EXACTLY what it's doing wrong, worded correctly so we can figure out the question.

4. PATIENCE to do the testing procedures given.

5. State your problem in the name of the topic. Don't clutter up your request for help with HELP!!! or PLEASE!!!. We know you want help. Tell us what kind of help you need.

Ayuh,.... It Is, in many places too,.... it's in a sticky, 'n Nobody reads stickies,...

That's the whole thing Don was goin' for, when he came up with the Adults Only section a few winters ago,...

That helped, but ya still gotta steer folks to it,....
'ell, even postin' a direct link in a thread is tooo much effort for some posters,...

'n even though this thread is off-topic for this forum Bob,...
I'll let it bounce 'round for awhile, for entertainment purposes,... ;)
