How to attach bow cushions blindly?

I am restoring a 1986 bow rider and I have the bow cushions completed and back from the vinyl shop. I need to attach them to the bow but the original pins are rotted and gone. I also did not have my seamstress put new attachment points in. I was wondering if they made a female snap fastener that has the ability to be screwed in? I know they make the male ones this way but I can't seem to find the female.

Also, what about a "U" channel system where I can slide or clip them into? They need to maintain a slight bend, so any type of overhanging fastener is out of the question. Also getting them from the rear will be quite the feat.

TIA.

Have you considered industrial strength velcro? I'm a musician and I built a custom guitar effects pedal board using it and it takes a crowbar to get my pedals off that board now.
