How to check my dead mans handel on my 75 hp rude

I have a 75 evindrude 83’ on a fletcher boat. My rude start up fin an runs fin for about 2-5 minutes, then it dies. I can then give it about 1 min then start it again a run 2-5 minutes. The motor have den standing without use for 2 years. I have cleaned the carb. and made a new fuelline. Now it runs for 15 to 20 minutes then dies and I can then start it again. <br /><br />Can it be my dead mans handel?? how can i test it??
