How to delete oil injection on 135hp Merc Blackmax

Hi guys,

I've read that many people delete their oil injection on these engines, and mine is acting up pretty badly, I've had some issues with it before, and I'm ready to be done with the oil injection and start mixing my gas.

Does anyone know of, or can provide a good walk through of how to do this. Based on reading, it seems agreed upon that this is one of the easiest mechanical jobs to take on with a motor, but I don't want to mess it up, I can't afford a new motor.

Take discharge from oil pump and plumb it to the intake of the pump.-----It now recirculates.------Now mix gas and oil at 50:1 in the fuel tank.

Buy the block off kit, remove pump, oil tank, remote oil tank, module, and plug hole where the remote tank oil line hooked to block. There is nothing else to do other than premix. Do not try to do this without the block off kit. There is a brass bushing down in the block that used to locate one end of the pump drive. If you do not use the correct block off kit it can come loose which could easily kill your motor.
