I have a 1985 40hp Mariner. I cannot find the SN on the merc. parts express, on IBoats part finder, or anywhere else. Even the dealers get confused when I call them for parts with that SN. It is (40EL) 420664. Any suggestions? :( Please help!!!

Try dougrussell.com. You will need a couple of letters before the number. Good luck

Thanks MOB and North. Both of these sites are great. Both have a great selection of parts for my motor(which is unusual). Ishop wins the price war!
Thanks again.
DHP, if you come up with some good info, I'd still love to know it!
