How to Find Specified Weight of Small Outboards Mfg After 1977

Manufacturers such as OMC and Mercury often manufacture several horsepower ratings with the essentially the same engine block and weight.

I am specifically looking at motors in the 5 to 10HP range. I can go online and find part diagrams, and even part numbers. But I have not found any online site where I can find the specified weight; except on current models.

Drill down to the model you're interested in. It shows the weight. From 1970 to present.

I don't know how accurate they are but Nada gives the weight for outboards.
