I know I'm gonna have people saying I don't need one but I want one. That said, doe anyone know a good spot to drill and tap a tell tale into this motor. It looks like there is an un-used boss on the starboard side just under the first coil and a little forward. But it is actually behind the head and I'm afraid I would be drilling into the cylinder if I went there. Is there a water jacket behind there or is it a straight shot to the cylinder?

If you look at older V-4 blocks there was a pipe thread fitting on the side of #1 cylinder.----Post a picture of where you are looking at to do this.-----Have you tested the overheat horn on this motor ?

I have not tested the overheat horn. What's the easy way to do that? Can anyone give me a part number for the restrictor nipple for the lower cowl?

I found a number for the nipple. Shipping costs more than the part. I bet I can find a brass fitting at a hardware store to work just as well as long as the I.D. is about the same
