Most times, a slow turning starter is NOT the starter motor, but a low battery, bad solenoid, or most often bad/dirt/untight connections. Check (+) and (-) terminations, spray some CRC or WD40 on the top of the starter drive. Battery must be fully charged, or you're wasting your time.<br /><br />You can by-pass solenoid with car jumper from (+) on batt to (+) on starter. If it cranks, it's the keyswitch or solenoid at fault usually.
