I am in need of advice on how to go about making my own outboard motor fuel line. I just don't make enough money on veterans disability to purchase a ready made fuel line and the ones I have seen listed on Craigslist for sale have the same price as in the store so I need to know how to go about making my own fuel line. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Rubber fuel line is $1.50 a foot. There's nothing to "make". Take fuel hose....slap on a connector(or connect it directly to the fuel pump) and your done.

If you can't afford that then you probably can't afford the fuel for your boat anyway.

Ok thanks, I guess I will need a 3/8" fuel line and attach the pump bulb to it somewhere as well. It will be for a AD-11 that I am converting over from pressurized to single line fuel system.

Thanks again for a quick reply.

The higher hp enignes use 3/8. If less than 150 hp yours is probably 5/16 ID. You'll know when you get it off.
