how to pressure test the fuel

How do you attach a pressure tester gage on a metal fuel line between the pump and carb without cutting it. both end of the pipe are flared.

Ayuh,.... Or make yer own fittin' to be able to deadhead the pump to the pressure gauge,.....

the engine doesnt have to be running? if you dead head the pump no fuel gets to the carb to keep it running.
